Who We Are

Carol Denman served as a Supreme Court Reporter from 1976 to 1984 and then partnered with Ross Atchison to form Atchison & Denman. After Ross’s untimely death in 1985, Carol became the sole owner of A&D.
As a working owner/operator, Carol built the company based on technology such as Computer Aided Transcription, highly trained court reporters and excellence in quality control and customer service.
Atchison & Denman is proud to be one of the largest court reporting firms in Canada with two locations in Toronto with an emphasis on institutional/government contracts.
In 2015
When mediation and arbitration became prevalent and sometimes mandatory, Tony Denman, President of A&D launched Mediation/Arbitration premises in downtown Toronto
In 2016
At the Pearson airport location. Med/Arb originally focussed on labour matters but has expanded to include large civil suits. Our offices are now being offered for collective bargaining.
Carol Denman is also a Certified Court Registrar and has the largest roster of Court Registrars in Canada. As well as providing Registrars to government and regulatory body hearings, A&D also provides Certified Court Registrar training.

Marley Zelden Vice President of Atchison & Denman is a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our company grow through active participation in business procurement and client interaction.
Doing so while overseeing daily business activities, working to continuously improve efficiencies, and ensure the smooth and congenial delivery of Med-Arb facilitation, registrar & court reporting services. From deftly coordinating processes, policies and IT support across diverse facilitations to her seamless operations of day-to-day activities she ensures every proceeding unfolds effortlessly.

For any problem, Marley will be there with a swift solution.
Labour studies and legal background
Marley graduated from Brock University with degrees in Labour Studies and Sport Management. From there, she worked within the sport industry as an operations supervisor. Prior to joining Atchison & Denman, Marley was a project and mediation coordinator and legal assistant at a mediation and arbitration firm in Toronto.
Marley is an avid sports fan (football, hockey, basketball, and baseball) who played ice hockey competitively throughout university and presently plays on multiple recreational ice hockey teams.
