Who We Are
Carol Denman served as a Supreme Court Reporter from 1976 to 1984 and then partnered with Ross Atchison to form Atchison & Denman. After Ross’s untimely death in 1985, Carol became the sole owner of A&D.
As a working owner/operator, Carol built the company based on technology such as Computer Aided Transcription, highly trained court reporters and excellence in quality control and customer service.
Atchison & Denman is proud to be one of the largest court reporting firms in Canada with two locations in Toronto with an emphasis on institutional/government contracts.
When mediation and arbitration became prevalent and sometimes mandatory, Tony Denman, President of A&D launched Mediation/Arbitration premises in downtown Toronto
At the Pearson airport location. Med/Arb originally focussed on labour matters but has expanded to include large civil suits. Our offices are now being offered for collective bargaining.
Carol Denman is also a Certified Court Registrar and has the largest roster of Court Registrars in Canada. As well as providing Registrars to government and regulatory body hearings, A&D also provides Certified Court Registrar training.
