Court Reporting & Transcription Services
Since 1985 Atchison & Denman Court Reporting has provided court reporting & transcription services to the legal community and various levels of government and regulatory bodies. Our Chartered Shorthand Reporters (CSR) have many years of experience and are security cleared and bound by confidentiality agreements. A&D Court Reporters will attend at your office or you can book one of our large boardrooms.
A&D has a network of court reporters all across Canada who can offer in person and remote court reporting services.
Realtime transcription, rough draft and expedited transcript is our specialty.
Our in-house Certified Legal Videographer can record your discovery or deposition and produce a Certified Video of the proceedings. A Certified Court Reporter is also present to prepare a verbatim transcript audio-synched to the video.
Virtual Reporting & Hybrid Attendance
Our staff of virtual facilitators are here to help you navigate your discovery, mediation or arbitration without the worry of technical glitches. We can host your matter virtually or provide a hybrid experience at our facilities with A/V equipment. This is ideal for parties who do not have the bandwidth or technical know-how to proceed remotely. We suggest you contact our office to discuss which remote/virtual scenario is best for your purposes.
Since March 2020 Atchison & Denman has developed an efficient hassle-free solution to proceeding virtually. We have hosted mediations, arbitrations, hearings, conferences, meetings, and examinations. Whether it be a hybrid approach (in person and virtual), or completely virtual we have the services available to assist. Our experienced facilitators have signed confidentiality agreements and are all fully trained in ADR processes.
Our certified court reporters have been attending discoveries virtually throughout the pandemic. For those who are unable to host their proceeding, we offer virtual facilitation services via ZOOM, Microsoft Teams, WebEx and GoToMeeting.
Our virtual facilitation host will send out invitations, set up and test the platform, share documents, provide technical support and breakout management. For matters with a large number of observers we offer live streaming services via a variety of audio and video platforms.
Confidentiality, discretion, and security are paramount when selecting a court reporting firm. With 38 years of experience, you can be assured that all proceedings are held in a safe and secure technological environment. All reporters have signed confidentiality agreements. Our certified court reporters have RCMP security clearance.
A common problem when connecting to virtual matters is the lack of adequate audio/video equipment, bandwidth and the technical knowledge to join a meeting. We can offer a private room with a hardwired laptop and technical support.
We offer large spacious rooms for in-person and hybrid examinations, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings.
Our in-house certified legal videographers have many years of experience recording discoveries and depositions both virtually and in person.
Atchison & Denman is the exclusive provider of Court Registrars in Ontario and the Maritime Provinces.
Our Court Registrars have had extensive training in court room settings, regulatory bodies and discipline committees. A Court Registrar conducts the business of the court, swears witnesses and act as Liasson to counsel and the Judge or Panel.
Atchison & Denman also provides training for Registrars and produces custom made manuals for regulatory bodies.
